Demos on Automatic Summarization Tools
A specific slot of the demo session will be dedicated to automatic summarization tools. The goal will be here to compare current approaches and their results. To participate to that specific slot, contributors are encouraged to use the following files from open-video.org for their experiments and produce summaries of about 20% of the document duration:
NASA 25th Anniversary Show, Segment 03
Size: 25.21 MB - Duration: 2:22 mn
New Indians, Segment 11

The whole audiovisual files will be shown beside the demo session in order to allow the conference attendees to appreciate the quality of the produced summaries. There will not be any kind of automatic evaluation.
Participants are asked to follow the guidelines of demo session to submit their contributions.
(Abstracts of max. 4 pages using the Word or LaTeX styles provided on the CBMI demo webpage submitted to Allan Hanbury or Philippe Joly by 2 February 2009. The final demo paper will be published on a CD-ROM distributed to the participants of the CBMI. It will be possible to submit videos or other material related to the demo to be included on this CD-ROM. See CBMI Call for Demo page for more precisions).
